Delete Your Data

This page explains how to request deletion of specific personal data within Winkidoo without necessarily deleting your entire account. If you want to delete your whole account, see Delete Your Account.

Delete Specific Data In-App

You can remove certain data yourself at any time, without contacting us:

To delete…	How
A surprise you created	Open the surprise in your Vault and choose Delete.
A custom AI judge	Profile → My Judges → select the judge → Delete.
A chat room or message	Open the chat and use the delete / leave option.
Your profile photo	Profile → Edit → remove or replace the avatar.

Surprises are also automatically deleted based on the auto-delete setting you choose when creating them (immediately on viewing, after 24 hours, or after 48 hours).

Request Deletion of Other Data

For any personal data that can't be removed directly in the app, email privacy@winkidoo.com from your account email with the subject "Delete My Data" and describe what you'd like removed.

We process verified data deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.

What May Be Retained, and For How Long

Purchase / subscription records — retained by RevenueCat and Google Play as required for financial, tax, and legal recordkeeping.
Anonymised, aggregated analytics — retained for product improvement; cannot be linked back to you.
Security and abuse logs — retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention, with personal identifiers masked.
Shared couple content — content you shared with your partner may remain in their account; contact us to request removal.
